The month of June has come and gone. Jack is 19 months old and has started to come into his own. My sweet lil’ punkin has now entered the world of no’s, fits and meltdowns. Don’t get me wrong…my sweet, little guy is still around the majority of the time, just with a little higher level of frustration and impatience.
Jack’s favorite words at this point are “no, no” (with a frantic headshake) and “yeah, yeah, yeah” (with a firm nod).
As in - “Jack, do you want a snack?”
“Yeah, nack, yeah, nack!”
Or- “Jack, is it night-night time?”
“NO, NO,NO!”
Time out is in full swing this month. The biting and hitting in the face isn’t so much fun for mom and dad. But all we say now is “time out” and little man goes ad sits in his spot, stays for a little bit and then looks for permission to get up. It’s almost as if he knows he may be spending some time there ;)
My sweet, toe-headed boy has fallen IN LOVE with stuffed animals this month! He carries them all over the house and there are at least 3 in his crib at all times!
The paci has been banned to the crib only and he does a great job of hiding it under his pillow before you lift him out of the crib!
Books are still at the top of our list! Jack is OBSESSED with all things farm and tractors (surprise, surprise) and those books are always at the top of the stack!
We are working hard on our colors this summer! Jack is sorting red, blue, yellow and green. But the only words that have come out are “blooo and yelyo”.
My busy, little man is everywhere leaving a disaster in his wake and we couldn’t be happier chasing after him!
Our days are spent trying to stay cool, playing with bubbles,
eating popsicles,
swimming and going to gym!
We took Daddy to a baseball game for Father’s Day! It was Jack’s first game, of many, and although it was SO HOT! We had so much fun!
I love my boys so much!!
Words cannot express our love for this little guy!
I can’t believe that we’re on our way to TWO!!!!
Love you Jackers!

mmkay. let's chat, shall we? a) you have the paci restricted to bedtime only, and he sweetly tucks it away for safekeeping? How on earth did you manage that so smoothly? we're more addicted to the paci than EVER and he now asks me for it 100x a day. awesome. b) he heads right on over to time out when he knows he's in trouble? pure brilliance. I freaking LOVE IT. c) his eyes are so blue they are TURQUOISE. gorgeous. d) why are they almost 2? it makes me want to cry. I told Matt tonight that I wanted to box him up at this age so i can open him up when he's 18 and remember this sweet age. He totally didn't get it. :)
JACK, YOU'RE A STUD!
Jack's "Pappy" was CRAZY about stuffed animals! He absolutely would NOT go to sleep at night unless all his "kids" were in bed with him. That went on 'til he was 4 or 5 at least... He took my stuffed animals that I kept on my bed and "adopted" them. I think he had 8 or 9 "kids" in bed with him every night. Soooo much fun to see Jack and remember his daddy and "pappy" when they were that age! Love to you ALL! Aunt Alice Lee
this post is total greatness! the pictures are fantastic and i love reading about what cutie jack is up to these days! and those shirts for your favorite men are totally adorable! i might just have to steal that idea! :)

Okay. Seriously. Let me first start off by saying how much I LOVE the baseball tees...OMG. Where in the world did you get them?!??! Freaking perfect.
Landon is 2 years old and his impatience is at an all time high. Do you think they'll EVER outgrow it?!?! Either way, Jack is WAY too cute, so it's not like you could stay sad with him for long.
Last, I totally agree with Paige...his eyes are GORGEOUS!!!! This are SUCH great pics, sweet friend!!! I miss you guys SO much!!!! What a cutie!!!!!
