Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve it snowed like crazy!  The news called it Blizzard ‘09 and they even shut down all the interstates- which never happens.

So…all of our fun family plans were cancelled and inside we stayed.

Mimi and Pops did bring over one of Jack’s Christmas presents so he would have something to keep him busy while stuck inside…

   

This prompted one of the biggest “OH WOW’s” yet!

Long forgotten was the sweet little tractor that had gone to bed with us last night and been by our side all day.

Now we had the REAL THING with a front loader AND A trailer!  The first thing he did was run and out is boots on!

Jack had a blast with his new tractor.  It has pedals, which he can’t quite reach just yet.  This ended up being a really great thing because we were able to keep it inside without worrying about him running over anything!  He just sat on it while he did EVERYTHING!  Watched T.V., ate snack, he even found a special place to keep his “meeps” aka milk.  Anther fun thing was filling the front loader with ALL of our legos and dumping them EVERYWHERE.  Which he thought was pretty hilarious!   Now he tells us that he’s going to go drive tractor and check the cows!

Sweet boy- the farming is in his blood!

After much tractor play- it was off to bed so Santa would come…
